The HEATIT HIRD Roof & Gutter Snow De-Icing Cable is designed to prevent ice buildup, known as ice dams, from forming on roofs and in gutters and downspouts. When properly installed, it creates a path for melted snow and ice to drain from the roof to the ground.

Features:
* CSA and ETL certified for superior quality and safety, meeting stringent industry benchmarks.
* Includes a 6 ft 18/3 cold lead with plug for easy installation.
* Pre-assembled, ready to install with an easy instruction manual, clips, and spacers.
* Constructed with tough XLPE as inner insulation and weather-resistant PVC as the outer jacket.
* Features 100% screen rate with aluminum foil and tinned copper braid for safety and stability.
* Effectively protects your roof from damage and leaking, ensuring water flows freely in gutters and downspouts.
* Suitable for use on metal or plastic gutters/downspouts, inclined roofs, and roofs with noncombustible shingles (e.g., asphalt shingles) that meet national building codes.
* Various lengths are available to suit most roof and gutter configurations.

Material: PVC, XLPE, Aluminum foil, Tinned copper braid
Dimensions: 80 feet length, 5 Watts per foot

Important Usage Information:
* This kit is designed for use only on metal or plastic gutters/downspouts, inclined roofs, and roofs with noncombustible shingles (e.g., asphalt shingles).
* Do not use this kit on roofs with wooden shingles, rubber or rubber membrane roofs, composite (tar and gravel) roofs, wooden gutters or downspouts, or flat roofs.
* HIRD cable cannot be used on slate, stone, metal, and ceramic roofs, as these types require special installation or self-regulating cables.
